HAMK Unlimited publishes three individual publications on one platform: Professional, Journal, and Scientific. All manuscripts go through preliminary review, but the process varies according to the publication.
Professional and Journal
The manuscripts targeted to Professional and Journal are mostly reviewed by members of HAMK staff. Each Professional manuscript is reviewed by at least one reviewer and Journal manuscript by two. The review process is open, i.e. the author and the reviewer are known to each other. The reviewers are requested to use the review form (.docx) of HAMK Unlimited. On the grounds of the reviews, the editors give feedback to the author. The feedback may include requirements, recommendations and suggestions. The reviewers are requested to read up on the instructions for writers.
Scientific
HAMK Unlimited Scientific follows academic peer review process. Reviewers (two or more) are sought from experts of the given field outside of the home organization of the author. The process is double-blind, which means that both the author and the reviewer are anonymous.
The reviewers are requested to use the review form (.docx).
The editor-in-chief makes the final decision based on the reviewer statements, and gives feedback and instructions to the author.
